TATTOO WORKSHOPS & MASTERCLASSES
Have you ever wanted to give tattooing a try for yourself?
Well here at The Olive Tree Tattoo Studio we’re allowing you to do just that!
We have multiple options of classes and workshops for you to choose from:
Basic Tattoo Taster Workshop
A relaxed and social introduction to tattooing, perfect for complete beginners.
£80 per person.
• Groups of up to 8 people
• 3-hour experience
• Communicative and social environment
• Basic approach with less theory
• Open to anyone, no experience needed
• Teaching fundamental line work techniques
• Practice with small, simple designs
• Use of professional machines and needles (all provided)
• Work on fake skin, which you can take home with you
Beginner Tattoo Masterclass
An in depth single day class aimed at those who wish to pursue a career in tattooing - the perfect addition to your portfolio!
£160 per person
6 hour class lunch break included
Smaller focused groups to allow for more 1-1 mentoring
This is more so a glimpse into a tattoo apprenticeship, whereas the Workshop is more for a fun taster!
Industry standard machine and equipment all included
Understand correct needle usage, line work and basic shading techniques
Fake skin practice you can take home with you, simple tasks at first
Then after lunch we move onto a more specialised tattoo design - come away with a finished design
Learn basic hygiene and safety theory
DESIGN WORKSHOPS
Our design workshops are tailored around those who love to draw and who aspire to be tattoo artists.
Although we will aim to host some pencil and paper designing workshops, we are hoping to host specific digital Procreate ones too. These will require you to bring your own iPad with the software already downloaded on to it.
Within the 2 hour time slot we will then teach you how to use common features in the tattoo industry and helping you with how to create a tattoo design.
We have some classic popular designs to teach you (for example, birth flower bunches or mandalas) but we will also give you a chance to come along with your on concept and we can help you walk away with a finished design.
£30-£50 depending on workshop.

ART & CRAFT WORKSHOPS
Artists, creatives and crafters… we’re calling you!
Here at The Olive Tree Academy we’re going to be hosting a variety of art and craft workshops - things such as pottery painting, vinyl record or canvas painting, even junk journaling and scrapbooking!
We will be hosting some longer, more in depth artistic drawing workshops, but also fun and social Sketch & Sip nights suitable for anyone!
If you’re less of a messy creator however, then we are also hoping to host some crochet groups too!
£15 - £30

BOOK CLUBS & BOOKISH THEMED EVENTS

Calling all bookish friends! Have you ever wanted a space to come together with others and chat all things bookish?
Well now you can! We will be hosting a monthly book club, where we pick a book to read each month - if you’re interested in something regular. We even have the idea of giving you your own book club scrapbook, and each time we meet instead of giving in depth review about the book we make scrapbook pages and picture collages of it instead!
Or if you’re more up for a one off event rather than committing to the club we will be hosting things such as book bedazzling, fantasy themed crafts, maybe even series themed quiz nights!

PHOTOGRAPHY SHOOTS & MASTERCLASSES
We are planning to allow established photographers to hire out our upstairs space.
Whether that’s for a small private hire photoshoot (portraiture, family, branding, content).
Or to collaborate with us on hosting a photography workshop/masterclass.
Workshops will vary from shooting headshots/portraits, black & white or colour imagery, photographing still life, fashion/editorial shots (using included models), flash photography, as well as things like lighting basics for a great photography insight.
All of which can vary from using phone cameras, to bigger cameras so that it can benefit everyone.
Shoot & workshop class prices will vary with photographer.
